The city is still lit, but the voices of the day have begun to fall away. Bergamot and juniper berry cut into the night; petitgrain leaves a cool trace, like lights receding beyond the car window—and the clarity that returns when the day is finally over.

Jasmine, iris and ylang-ylang settle closer to the skin. The florals do not project outward; they soften and quieten in the dark. Work, identity, response and judgment fall away layer by layer, leaving only the body’s own warmth.

Sandalwood unfolds slowly. Ambergris accord leaves a faint saline warmth, while agarwood and labdanum deepen the night with a dark, enveloping softness. Not a heavy black, but the calm of being held.
